Advocacy

Founded in 2020, with a name change in 2023, the Advocacy committee collaborates with student groups and administration to bring awareness to important issues that impact our campus, the greater Providence community, and the world. Advocacy works to provide support to marginalized communities on campus, and it is committed to the goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Examples of initiatives that this committee has taken on in the past include: Title VI enhancements, LGBTQ+ support, DWC curriculum updates, and international student support.
